This screen protector made from tempered glass is ideal if you want to protect the screen of your Nexus 5 without having to deal with the sticky feeling of a plastic screen protector.
Application was rather simple. Make sure the screen of the Nexus 5 is very (!) clean. I cleaned it with a moist towel first and then used the microfiber cloth that comes with the screen protector to remove all remaining dust and any fingerprints. Then remove the glass screen protector from its packaging and remove the protection foil. The blue protection foil should not be removed until the screen protector is applied and all bubbles are removed. Carefully line the screen protector up. For me it worked best to hold it just above the screen and making sure the holes lined up with the speaker and the proximity sensor. Once it is on the screen, just tap it slightly and the adhesive will create a vacuum between the screen and the glass protector that will hold it firmly in place. The is a little squeegee to remove any bubbles. Once all of them are removed, you can take off the blue foil and if everything went well, you should hardly notice the screen protector on the phone.
I really like this product so far. It is more expensive than plastic screen protector, but it is well worth the price premium. The difference between the fell and look of any plastic screen protector and this glass screen protector is like night and day.
Try to work in a dust-free environment when applying the screen protector. And particle on the screen or the adhesive side will create air bubbles. Should you get the adhesive side of the glass screen protector dirty, you can use magic tape to remove any dust particles before applying it.
