I read other reviews and made my decision based the reputation of Otter Box cases.
The only pitfalls in the construction of the case are the screen protector and seal that encapsulates the inside shell.
The screen protector collects a lot of dust; it is a magnet for the stuff. It also collects debris and needs dismantled frequently. I will be modifying the case by removing the screen protector and adding a stick on type still taking advantage of the outside lip protector that the inside shell provides.
The seal needs improvement. It is hard to put in your pocket and not have the seal come out of the gap provided from the inside shell. I do not use the clip on case due to it being so big. That would remedy the situation, but would create another problem since I have a few extra pounds in the abdominal area.
I would recommend the case to everyone. As an overall improvement, I would reverse the layers similar to the Commuter, the hard shell being on the outside and the silicone on the inside. This would remedy the seal and the collection of whatever is in your pocket. I would like to add that the new soft layer material is lint free.
Hope this helps.
