Not worth the trouble on this model.
I purchased an extended battery for my son's Sprint Motorola Phpton 4g. The battery does last longer however, the battery is so large that it comes with a replacement extended battery back cover. The problem is that the phone is now very thick and I have NOT been able to find a phone cover or skin for this thick phone. As a result, my son dropped his phone as we all sometimes do and it was damaged due to there not being any protective phone covers available. It ended up costing over $100,00 to file a claim and get a replacement phone all because of this HUGE battery! I have an extended battery in my HTC and it's the same size as the regualar battery. I will never buy another motorola phone again!

Good Battery
While this extended battery does provide almost twice the charge than the standard battery that came with the photon. It does have some drawbacks. It is suggested that you "condition" the battery. This is done by letting the battery charge overnight as soon as you get it. Extended batteries need extended charging after all. You need to let the battery die all the way down once if not twice. From my experience, the battery went from 100% to 5% within 2 hrs. BUT, it stayed at 5% for the next 8-10 hrs. There is no way to know "when" exactly your phone is gonna die until you hear the beep(s) when it shuts off. Otherwise, its a good battery to last you for an extended trip or a long work day when you dont have access to a wall outlet. Id recommend getting a portable usb charger w/ at least 6000mAh.

Wondering if not compatible with Photon
I am running through 95% of the battery in 4-5 hours and then it will last over 16 hours at less than 5%. No way to monitor when you will run out of juice so pretty weird.

Great price but not better than stock 1700mAh
Good fit and back cover is almost as nice as stock but this 3500 mAh battery does not last quite as long as the stock 1700 mAh. I may have an extreme use situation since I work in the basement of a 1890's masonry constructed building with poor cell reception and tend to go through 2 charge cycles in a day no matter which battery I use.

Cheap Product but does work and surprisingly well with 1 glitch
This battery has a lot of juice though the phone does not read the correct battery level. It lasts quite a bit longer than the stock battery. The cover fit well and seemed to be made well. Not sure what the life of this battery will look like but for $9 one can't go wrong.
